Here are my test results before I added more liquid chlorine tonight. FC-1.5 pH-7.5 TA-160 CH-400 CYA-30 Salt-4000. Reading on SWG is 3800 I did the CYA test 5 times and could always see the black dot.

Thanks. I confirmed that it is calcium by performing the bubble test. Is this anything to be concerned about? I did the CH test and our level is 325 which seems to be in the normal range.

Seems like ever since adding salt to our pool for SWG startup this year (we didn’t add salt last year since our pool wasn’t completed until only 2 weeks left in the season) our pool robot and vacuum suck up a ton of this white stuff. It has a sand like texture. Is this type of salt residue...

The pump is basically brand new. Pool install was finished in Sept 2021 so I hope nothing else would need replaced yet!

Pool has been open for about 3 weeks now (1st full season-only had about 2 weeks last year from when pool was finished to when we had to close it up for winter). Went to clean the pump basket today and found this screw underneath the pump basket. Thoughts on where it could have come from?

Do I need to specifically do the OCLT even though my pool is covered the entire day (outside of testing/adding chemicals for 1-2 hrs)? I think I'll focus on getting the CYA to a readable level and go from there as long as nothing else happens
