Since you are a self diagnosed poor maintenance person (no judgement - I get it :) ) I would do the SWG. This will ensure that chlorine goes into the pool each day, and will not need your daily intervention once you get the hang of how to set it. Just my opinion...

Wow... Sorry for you! I think it might be easier to have them redo the bottom of the pool by breaking up the concrete and digging deeper, than doing the alternatives they have suggested... Whatever you do, don't settle. Make sure you get what you contracted for - or be happy with it.

Hi Guys - I have two hayward inground skimmers and (no surprise) the one furthest from the pump does not get as much suction. Is there any way to regulate this, so that the suction is even in both? Thanks!

I read something on another post indicating that potentially having not enough resistance may cause a loud pump - is this a possibility?
