Thank you for the reply. I have to say I am totally clueless with VS pump and the one speed/2 speed. I have only ever had a 1hp or a 1.5hp. Would a 1.5hp be too much for my size pool. I read that the larger the pump for your size pool will turn over more water more often making for a cleaner...

Hello, I live in Southern NJ. We just purchased a hard sided pool to replace our old one. The previous one came with the house when we moved in 20 years ago. Once the pool is filled any recommendations? Pool size is 24ft round 54 deep. We have well water and there is a softener system on it.
