Black and Decker variable speed pump seal

Thank you. My only issue is that it's $55 shipped for just a seal. Pretty sure that's more than OEM Hayward. Any idea if there are other generic more affordable optioms that will work? It doesn't sound like anyone has verified it yet.

Hayward Goldline Pro Logic Transformer smells like burning

I will give that a test. We have been having very sunny 100+ days so I'm sure thats eating up quite a bit. I bumped it up to 25% now.

I think it is 3E23005-700903 but that may be some other designator. Sorry for the delayed response. I did turn down the salt genration but Ive noticed my chlorine numbers are still pretty low.

Hayward Goldline Pro Logic Transformer smells like burning

Sorry for the delay in answering, its been a busy few weeks. I will try testing turning off the swg for a bit to see if I still feel the heat and the smell. Maybe I'm doing something wrong here but I thought I was shooting for 8 FC with cya near 70 with a salt water pool. Now I will admit...

Hayward Goldline Pro Logic Transformer smells like burning

The original setup is I'm guessing about 10-15 years old. About a year ago I switched over to a salt cell, adding it to the Pro Logic pl-p-4. Perhaps it was bumping it up to 60% or maybe it's done it all along but the other day I was near the box and smelled an electronics burning smell coming...

Wiring in black & decker vsp to pro logic with automation adapter

Im about to pull my hair out at this point lol. The relay tested bad so I went ahead and ordered a new one. I installed it today and no luck. So I started diving deeper and when I set the Aux2 to filter low speed, theres a click when I engage low speed but the black thing does not pop up and...

Wiring in black & decker vsp to pro logic with automation adapter

So I went back and forth with poolpartstogo and this was stated: Me: At high speed the filter pump relay solenoid black peg gets sucked in, no movement on the others, when I switch to low speed the filter pump relay pops out but the aux 2 relay does not move. Them: If the AUX2 relay isn't...

Wiring in black & decker vsp to pro logic with automation adapter

Alright I got my third or fourth automation panel in today and as of right now, it's not restarting every minute. The new issue is that when I press to filter button on my Hayward pool control panel which is supposed to switch to low speed, it turns the pump off. I hear the relay click and if I...

I really don't have a decent fix in the meantime. I'm using the standard panel right now waiting for a fix.
