    Is is okay to run the unit with the button in the OFF position (no chlorine generation)? Attempting to reduce FC while filtering the pool water.

    Todays test results. What do you think?

    Vinyl. With the high FC vs. low CYA would you recommend raising CYA or wait until FC becomes lower?

    Salt=3400, 70 F, pH=8.0, FC=6.5, CH=50,TA=130, CYA=30. CSI calculated by pool math @ -.42 Thanks for your advise

    High FC

    Thanks for the reply Jim. I have read through the pool school but find it difficult and frequently lose my place. Would like to be able to download the contents. Oh well, I will eventually learn this operation.

    High FC

    Since the FC is 8 and the CYA is 50, do I need to raise the CYA to 115 (per the chart) or wait until the FC lowers?

    High FC

    Latest test indicated that FC is 8.5. Other readings were Salt=3100, Temp=54, pH=7.8, CH=75, TA= 120 & CYA=50. The GA days have been cloudy and RAIN. Should I move the AquaRite to the off position and just use the filter in an attempt to lower FC?
