Thank you. I have replaced the lid and gasket a few times because the pool guy felt it was that. I have 3 pumps on my system and they are all the same. The main filter pump, the spa booster pump and the infinity edge basin pump. The other pumps work great with no losing of prime, no bubbles...

One other comment: If the pump housing is making a loud hissing sound when I turn off the pump, does that mean there is an air leak somewhere in the pump? Seal plate gasket, shaft seal, etc. But note, no water leakage. Note2: I have already replaced the basket lid, o ring and magic lube on o ring.

Thank you for your comment. I will check the drain plug on the pump pot. Thank you for the comment on the shaft seal. My pool guy felt the same as you. There is no water leaking anywhere, dry as a bone, so he felt the shaft seal is not an issue. The infinity pump only goes to the infinity basin...
