I ordered a Intex 22’x52” with sand filter a couple weeks ago from Walmart. The pool was $897 the day before I ordered it, $997 the day I ordered it, and now it’s $1199. You may have missed the good deals by now.

I'd leave it off myself, but what do I know. If you the cover on, all the rainwater is just going to cover the pol cover and end up in the pool when you try to take the cover off.

I'm a newbie here, but if it were me I'd just bring the chlorine up to shock level every time you go by there. I wouldn't use the pucks because it will raise CYA. If you're going by three times a week I think just chlorine is the best option. I know some more knowledgeable people will check in...
