    Problem and Resolution needed fast...

There is a leak in the liner and we are losing water at roughly 6-8" a day. As the water is too cold and the wife wants to get a new liner next year anyways what should we do? Do we just drain it/let it drain itself? Do we drain, Repair and fill (but how much)? We are worried about the walls of...

    Rough start and maybe overthinking?

I have returned the tabs and chlorinator for said tabs! And as you wrote don't need to slam because my water is just added and looking great! So all I need to do until something looks off is keep the chlorine and pH inline daily (using the good ole bleach) And just need one confirmation that...

    Rough start and maybe overthinking?

Wait just re-read the statements...stay away from the PhosFree **** for now and work on the chlorine , CYA and pH... And those steps use liquid chlorine, then the conditioner and then to keep it kinda balanced use the 3" tabs using the inline. Also use the pool calculator to figure out what to...

    Rough start and maybe overthinking?

Ok so I'll go get some liquid chlorine add that as recommended by the pool calculator then since I don't have granular CYA , I'll use the liquid conditioner that they sold me? Then tomorrow after a run of 12 hours or so I'll retest everything to see where it stands. Also when do I shock and...

First Time Pool Owner and Results of Test Scary...WHAT DO WE DO?

The CYA is definitely way over 100 because there is very little water while doing that test. They only list the numbers from 30 being near the top of the tube to 100 being about halfway down and we only have maybe 1/8th of it full. - - - Updated - - - Is there something else we should try...

First Time Pool Owner and Results of Test Scary...WHAT DO WE DO?

If I were to guess 150-200 since there are no numbers below the 100 mark (meaning there is very little liquid in the small container). Does this mean we need to drain the entire pool or are there alternative solutions or another test we should run before considering this?
