I need a new hayward T-15 cell and they are currently $900 when you can find them. I just don't have that right now. Has anyone used one of those off-brand ones with success?

Hate to resurrect an old thread but . . . I would just like to send the readings to Home Assistant somehow. Can that be done through a Pi, and nodejs_poolController with the RS 485 adapter? Am I reading that right?

This is a hot mess. While I am waiting for my new pump to arrive, I am thinking about revamping my pumping station. Maybe put down a new pad, cut and cap off the unused piping, and make the flow a little better. Any suggestions on what to change and what to use as a pad?

Neither of those are dual speed, right? The variable speed pumps are just out of my price range.

I have a creepy crawly thing keeping the bottom clean. Would I just have it do the higher speed a few hours a day to kick that in? Or would i have to set it up every time I want to use it? Basically I really don't want to create more work for myself.

This pump is old as dirt. It screams when running and runs super hot. I think it is finally time.

My pool water level has been dropping. Went outside and found this: 20161122 104903 - Sendvid I tightened the band that connects the dry and wet parts and now the water is flowing instead of dripping. Guess its new pump time :'( Any recommendations on where to get a 1.5 hp pump?
