Very helpful thank you! Sounds like 400k btu is what I want then size wise. Is the Eti 400 worth it over the Mastertemp? The Eti at least from pentair website looks to be their top end unit although 6-8k is kinda nuts for it.

Why not let it run at high so it circulates more water and generates more heat? I have my pump running at 2700 24/7 right now.

Oh and worst case down the road what is the process to convert back from a SW pool? Aside from just disablng/removing the SWG anything else required to go back to regular chlorine and any impacts on the plaster/minipebble or its life span?
