Just to update, Natural Chemistry tech support said an opened container of liquid stabilizer will store over the winter without losing its effectiveness.

Getting ready to close next week, my CYA is 40. I have about a 1/2 gallon of liquid stabilizer in the shed, should I add now or save for the spring? Is there a shelf life for the opened container of liquid stabilizer?

Good afternoon all, So I completed SLAM, OCLT was .5 and water has cleared up. Is it safe to add liquid stabilizer now to increase CYA?

OCLT 9pm 4.5-5 5am 4.0 still hazy, I’m thinking it’s time to SLAM? Noticed a bit of green on the steps this morning. 2nd question, should I bring CYA up to 60 before starting? I also added another8oz of acid to bring pH down to 7.4

Added 16oz acid and dropped pH to 7.6, will do OCLT in the morning.

RESOLVED! Jet assembly was not seated right in the housing, all good now!

Just to add, there is water coming out the jets and air control knobs.

Today I went to turn on the step jets after removing the plugs and reinstalling the nozzle assemblies and water began flowing out of the air control knobs when I opened them to let air in. The knobs are located above the jet and above the water line. So, needless to say, there are no bubbles...
