    Diatomaceous Earth

I have just started opening our pool by balancing the Ph. Last year when I opened the pool I used HTH Green to Blue, which worked perfect. This time however I have no way to vacuum and discharge the water at the same time due to the fact I have a Hayward Diatomaceous Earth filter. So my question...

Intex pump got loud all of the sudden...

Mine is LOUD and like yours is 4 weeks out of warranty. This actually my second pump as the first went out during the warranty and Intex replaced. I am thinking of biting the bullet and replacing it with a DE filter. Open to suggestions as replacing it every couple of years can get expensive as...

    Electrical help

In order to answer your question concerning the wiring. One would need to know the distance from the service panel to the location as well as the AMPs that will be drawn. Additionally you will need to account for amp in rush when the motor starts. From my past experience it is cheaper to use...

    This weather stinks

I wouldn't give up just yet! We managed to get a concrete pad poured and spent yesterday moving it. I'm not happy about all the rain either. But I imagine we will be praying for rain next month while in the pool. ;)

    Haywood Skimmer

I have a Haywood skimmer and am hesitant in installing it. It's not cutting the liner that concerns me. I am thinking I will loss water depth in order for it to effectively work. Can anyone tell me if I will loss any water depth?

Re: Texas AGP (Intex) - Will update What size pipe did you use? Secondly in reviewing the pictures of you plumbing I didn't see the saltwater system. How is that plumbed in? But looks great!

    Cement Pool Pad

After reading a few of the posts about using concrete I have a few questions. 1) What psi of concrete should be used? 2) At what thickness did you use? 4" or 5" 3) How long do you have to wait before setting the pool up? 4) Did you use any slope on the pad? e.g. 1/4" per 4'

Above Ground Pool on Concrete Pad ?

I am looking into this as well. What psi did you use? And at what thickness? How long did you wait before putting the pool up?
