Concerns About Ahh-some Products, BACs, and Antibiotic Resistance in Hot Tub Maintenance

thanks for your reply! Noted on sanitzer, I am doing my best, but without SWG it's hard to keep up. (think travel, hurricanes, torrential rain, sickness etc). Might have to consider Bromine but that just seems like more stuff & $ and still have to add chlorine weekly.

Hot tub “Type of Pool” in poolmath

Not bad.. if they added a specific aqua clarity they could then add a reminder.. right now I use a note but maybe your idea is better.

Hot tub “Type of Pool” in poolmath

Awesome.. for me more important the aqua clarity/hot tub type but I hear others ask for Bromine so… figured I would mention it.

Hot tub “Type of Pool” in poolmath

Cool thank you I wish PoolMath had a Hot Tub selection (with acrylic and bromine options), a option for “add Aqua clarity” when adding chemicals… and a reminder to add aqua clarity weekly (or a you haven’t added aqua clarity for X days) Maybe I should have created a new thread…

Hot tub “Type of Pool” in poolmath

I have a bullfrog hot tub. Just pondering if “Tye of Pool” in poolmath should be fiberglass? I assume so, but figured it doesn’t hurt to ask the experts.

Hot Tub Cover strap for Hurricanes / high winds

I was concerned with flying objects/things hitting the top and damaging it.. there is an LCD panel and the acrylic.. minimally concerned with the hot tub moving but considered it as a possibility. Cap over the cover with sandbags did the trick.

Hot Tub Cover strap for Hurricanes / high winds

Thank you all for the help regarding this.. In the end I decided to go with a hot tub cap/shield and light sandbags on top of that (the dealer's tech gave me that recommendation..) During the hurricane (turned tropical storm) the ends of the cap lifted a bit but no damage to the hot tub. The...
