I bought it... had it shipped.. unfortunately the float hangs over a good 1" ... Seems crooked to market this to fit in a 7" hole, but it would realistically barely fit in an 8" one :(

Good afternoon folks... So my water table is very high. I need a sump pit at the end of my pool that fills up regularly. I have used the pumps that have the attached floating piece. Well my sump pit shaft is pretty narrow and that thing routinely gets caught up in the wiring, etc and doesnt...

It only sits in the water when its cleaning... Even when sitting rolled up for a week or two its still gummy... Guess i just live with it.

Lots of discussions lol, unfortunately no real fixes... so the cord is already gritty and gummy... Short of replacing it does anyone know how to actually clean it? Its just insanely sticky and gummy... Still cleans fine, but its less than ideal :)

So My pool cleaner has developed a very gummy film on the outside of the cord. Its a maytronics... Its been gradually getting worse... I presume its the chlorine breaking down the rubber, but is there any way to clean this off? its incredibly frustrating. Thank you much :)
