Yeah, I just talked to them on the phone. They sent me the wrong cell. Not sure they're going to honor it, though

@JamesW I got it from PoolSupplyUnlimited. I guess I don't know for sure, but they seem pretty legit. My invoice says it has a 3-year warranty.

Might not be the right thread for this. Mods, feel free to move it. I'm on my second failed Hayward salt cell in 5 years, and I'm beginning to seriously question whether salt water is worth it. It's cost-effective in theory, but having two cells fail in 5 years kinda kills that theory...

@Newdude I just measured with the drop test. It took 30 drops, which means my salt is 6000? That makes no sense to me, but that's what it measured.

We got a big rain (dilution) and afterward my SWG was measuring 2200. It was at 2700 before the rain. Had the trees sprayed 3 weeks ago then just had it done again on Friday and I still don't think it got them all. These things are a nightmare. I've cleaned up the back yard a bit, but I'm waiting until I'm sure they're gone before I do a full clean up. We also have a lot of pecans falling, and...
