    Hayward Omnilogic touch screen problem

I just wanted to update for anyone who find this thread and has version 3.2 or later. Hayward has removed the "Shell Command" option and this procedure will no longer work to recalibrate the screen. Now, you only need to touch the center of your screen for 10 seconds during boot up. You will...

Goldline Aqua Rite - Check Salt & Inspect Cell Lights flashing or steady

Did you ever figure this out? I am getting a very similar problem. Background: I've been a CPO for 15 year and have had the aqua rite system on my moms pool since they were made by goldline. The box was upgraded to a Hayward some 7-10?? years ago and I have successfully replaced the...

    Omnilogic salt cell not working

For the record, I 1st called Hayward support and they advised that since the K1 & K2 stuck open relay messages were showing that it was likely my board (location of those relays. However, I informed them that would not explain the sensor short error, why BOTH relays would stick open at the same...

    Omnilogic salt cell not working

Did you ever figure out the problem on your end? I am getting a "T-Cell current sensor short chlorinator 1" alarm (as well as k2 and k1 relay stuck open alarms). I am just over 3 years (installed summer of 2014) so my guess is the cell has failed. Did you get yours working? What was the...

    Hayward's New OmniLogic

Refusing? Duport's June 5th post above listed pricing. Otherwise, no one has asked have they? Mine was in a new pool build package so its not really possible to isolate the shelf price (uninstalled). You will either need to run an ethernet to the box as I did or use their WLAN box. Its...

    Hayward's New OmniLogic

My pool has been opened and we fired up the equipment and omnilogic on Monday. So far, its worked wonderfully. I'm not familiar with other automation panels, but its very intuitive. Honestly, I have not even used the main touch panel once. I use my ipad or laptop. Really nice. ;)

    Hayward's New OmniLogic

I just had an Omnilogic installed yesterday and I'm happy about it. Its a huge panel, larger than the PL in the box. I'm still a bit away from opening the new pool (need deck, pool finish, and water), but its getting close. I don't know too many details that aren't already shown on all of...

New Build Debate - Polairs 280 or Dolpnin M4

I'm sure this is the way to find out for sure. However, if you recall, I'm the OP with the debate. Since energy consumption appears to be one of the biggest factors on VS pumps and robotic pool cleaners, I figured someone would have precisely figured out how low they could run their VS pump...

    Umbrella in sun shelf pros/cons

I imagine a smaller pole will still work. If it wobbles to much for your liking I'm sure you can just insert a section of PVC pipe to act as a bushing. FWIW, tractor supply has an awesome 11'er right now with a 1.88" pole for just $95. Yes, I said 11 feet!

New Build Debate - Polairs 280 or Dolpnin M4

True, nevertheless, I'm still curious as to the range of applicable answers to the question.

New Build Debate - Polairs 280 or Dolpnin M4

Hard question? I'd have figured such a topic would have been hashed out in all the energy analysis 280 vs robot threads. I understand that the booster pump primarily increases pressure on the pressure circuit pulling water from the return side of the main pump. Only seems logical to ask how...

New Build Debate - Polairs 280 or Dolpnin M4

If one has an echostar VS pump, what the minimum speed it needs to run when using the 3/4 hp booster pump for the Polaris 280 cleaner?

New Build - Cheap Electricity, Omnilogic, but should I go VS for Water Featrues?

Is it possible to walk up an make a quick manual adjustment (if desired) to a valve with an actuator? Will the actuator "allow" this?

Does larger waterline tile hold up better (than smaller ones)

I'm of the general and unfounded belief that smaller waterline tile (i.e. 3x3) do not hold up as well as the larger 6x6. Specifically, I'm concerned that they may be more prone to popping off over time. Does anyone have an opinion or knowledge of this?

    Stonescapes regular pebble vs. Mini

We're building now and have mini-pebble on our plans. The PB is very popular with 60+ pools per year including some over 300K. Quite surprisingly, he claims to have only done one other mini-pebble in all these years. I guess I'll be #2.
