Thanks for the help. The cell looked fine to me but I sprayed it out, used some vinegar and threw it back on super chlorinate. I wish there was a way to see if it was working besides waiting several hours to test water. Pool is getting cloudy.

On this link for CYA reagents, I'm confused by the two items that both say 8oz but widely different in price. Is the one that's $4, just a 2oz bottle (and not 8oz total like it says) and then the $13.50 item is a full 8oz bottle? I'm assuming that's what it is but just wanted to check...

Now that I'm getting a decent handle on FC, pH, TA, and CYA...I'm wondering about the CH part of pool. My question is mostly on the amount PoolMath is telling me to add. Granted, I haven't tested CH within last few days at least (does it rise naturally at all?) If it doesn't rise naturally...

So, just when you think you're getting the hang of it... My chlorine keeps rising, I've put my SWCG down to 50%, then down to 30% (running about 20 hours a day). And now I just turned it off after getting another rise (13ppm). What else can I do besides what I've done? Just a waiting game...

Okay, thank you. I used the drops for pH test, just trying simple for right now. Pool Math is saying another 39oz for the pH (I have the target at 7.6 though - change this to 7.2?) Water is clear so I'll add some more CYA too. Thanks again.
