Broken Pump Motor on Back Order -- how long can I safely use the pool?

Fascinating! I will look into that today. Thank you so much! (The pool is filling up with debris, so I had been scooping it out with a net).

Broken Pump Motor on Back Order -- how long can I safely use the pool?

I've got an Intex above ground pool with sand filter and salt water generator. The pump motor has died and Intex says the part is on "back order" and likely won't be available this summer. Unless I buy a whole new pool, the filter/SWG that works with my pool is unavailable for purchase online...

Intex SWG/Sand Filter Pump Broken & on "back order".... what to do in the meantime?

While I wait for Intex to process my warranty claim and replace the motor & control for my Intex SWG/Sand Filter Pump (which no longer works... at all), is there any way to keep my pool water clean(ish) without the use of a working pump or filtration system? I plan to test the water daily using...

Should I add bleach now even though we're going to be emptying 20% of the pool?

And then I got different numbers from Leslie's Pool, using a sample taken 2 hours later: PH: 8.2 FC: 0 CC/TC: 0 TA: 67 (but "adjusted" due to the effect of CyA on tested Total Alkalinity) Salt: 4000 CH: 160 CYA: 99 Planning on removing/replacing 20% of the pool water. Any ideas why the...

Newbie - just used TF-100 test kit... need advice

We've had our 8403-gallon Intex above-ground pool for 1 week and our TF-100 test kit just arrived. Our numbers are as follows: PH: 8.2 FC: 2 CC: .5 TA: 210 Salt: 5000 (I know, super high) CH: 300 CYA: 30 We have a SWG (ECO15110-2) and have been running it 9 hours every evening. Wondering...
