Just installed my new Hayward S244t and for the life of me, I can not get the fittings to completely seal. One is a drip every 30 sec, and the other takes about 3 min per drop. Yes I know its minimal, and it evaporates fast, but I can not let it leak...will drive me crazy. I started with white...

Works for me :) was installed for a portable generator. To hard to remove so I left it in. No it can be a happy part off pool bonding :)

I have a grounding stake i installed for another reason yeas ago about 5 feet fro my pool. Do you think it smart to include this in my bonding circle?

Just had the same thing happen to me. Thought I was getting Hayward S244T. I know it is the same, but it's not what I ordered. If they had called and told me it was a sandmaster and it was identical except for color and sticker, I'd have been ok with it. I feel like the screwed me.... It's not...

I was concerned it would put out to much at a low lever and I would not be able to adjust low enough. Im sure there are other ways to regulate too. Thanks

So I am jumping in here. I too am looking at a Hayward SWG. My 15 K pool i was going to get the 25K cell. But the 40K isn't much more...Am I still ok with the 40K, or is it way to much overkill? It does say "Up to 40K"

Craig's list is full of awesome deals for filters and pumps. I just got a Hayward S244T new in box for $100. Look around. A lot of good deal out there if you look. Never get from pool store. Always way overpriced. Example from yesterday ...EC 65 DE filter at pool store $750.....eBay $200-400...

I'm in the same area. I'm looking fwd to a good long back flush. Then I get to play chemist yeah!!!

I'd keep it and have the fun and satisfaction of fixing it and watching it go from black to crystal clear :)

I have the K-2005 and the add on K-1515-A FAS kit. I like both!! I use the DPD for every day getting close. And I use the FAS weekly to see where I am exactly. Just my opinion. K-1515-A about $26 delivered.
