    I'm not sure I understand. I was looking for some kind of way to connect my garden hose to the Pentair filter drain plug. There's a big difference in size. What you sent was a cap that screws onto the end of the garden hose.

    Hey there! No, no bib that I can see, just a straight pipe from pump into the filter. I just replaced the filter. Used to be a Hayward filter, now Pentair. The Hayward had a convenient 3/4 hookup for drain. The Pentair is a bigger 1.5 drain outlet.

    That's awesome, glad to hear that! Good idea with a lower pool gauge, seeing 1 pressure freaks me out a little! Thanks for the info!
