After shocking, my water was sparkling and I passed an OCLT test. Then I vacuumed and the water clouded up. I reshocked but am afraid to vacuum now. Do I need to clean the vacuum hose?

I just filled the hot tub. (just moved in, new to us but not new.) Here's what appears to work: the heater, the light, the pump, and one jet. Here's what doesn't appear to do anything when I press the buttons: air, and "jet 2". Suggestions?
We have a 10 year old fiberglass pool. This is the first year I have noticed cracks -- I see about 3 hairline cracks where the floor and wall meet. Any ideas on why, or what to do about them?

from looking at my specific pump, it takes a 1/4" drain plug. My local pool store can get me a hayward 1/4" plug... that's not my pump manufacturer. Is it likely to work (is a drain plug a fairly universally interchangable part)?
I have a 16000 gal fiberglass pool with sand filter, about 10 years old. I used to be able to use a timer for turning the pump on and off but the pump needs to be primed manually now. It has some air in the basket before the pump while running, but no air in the return lines. Suggestions?
The water is cloudy. (clear enough to see bottom in shallow end but not in deep end) The test kit I have is from Leslie's (Taylor) with DPD, but does not have the the powder test you all talk about (FAS? I think) So 5 drops of #1 and #2 yield FC and then 2 drops of #3 give TC. So I think...
Hi, I have a fiberglass pool and had to replace a lot of the water with well water this year (drained a lot to get to the light). So these numbers are mostly a victory
