Hello all, Last winter we had lots of rain, and the liner was partially floating when I removed the cover. My soil is notorious for having perc issues, and because of this I believe is why I have issues with water getting behind the liner even when the pool is at normal operating levels...

Pool was installed last year, this is the first year opening myself. After removing winter cover, I noticed the pool liner had water behind it and was floating in section of the shallow end. I detached a portion of the liner, pumped out the water, filled the pool and gently brushed the liner...

Just to be clear, this is for broom finish concrete.

The only thing I am not sure of is the patio per square ft cost. This pool builder operates out of a town 45 minutes - 1 hour away. I assume his subs have a certain cost they have to charge to be worth it for them. However, I think I may ask locally for contractors to do the concrete work.

Unfortunately, this is right at the top of my budget. I am very handy (build jet engines for a living) and do most work myself. I was planning to do the fence to save a couple thousand. Any other ways you guys suggest I could save?

well, outside of the door, by the back porch is dense forest. Where the pool is currently at, it essentially can over look an open 10 acre pasture. But i will provide photos as well.

So had my first site visit today, should have the estimate by next week! Originally we were leaning towards a mountain pond, but after talking to the builder he suggested the lagoon since we would have a large shallow area for the kids and still a deeper section to swim in.
