We bought our house in 2010. This is my first pool, and first pool pump rebuild. The pool pumps just arent pushing that much water. I don't know how old the pool pumps are - i am guessing they are 15 years old or so. I don't want to spend $1500 on a new VS Pump. Where can i find the parts...

Thanks for the thorough response. The pump is within 20' of the pool. The pump is above the pool water level and 1.5" suction pipes.

Got an old DE pool filter and these two old pumps. I'd like to get something that is more efficient that will work with the DE filter. Or is the pool filter so archaic that i need to change it as well.
