After reading thru many posts and almost deciding to drain my pool to get rid of silt on bottom I put pair of panty hose around the filter that came with my 12x30 round intex pool. Ran the pump for about 5 hours - silt is gone - pool is clean. Now if only all my other problems could be solved...
