My pool is empty, what next?

I thought I kept hearing you couldn't drain a pool completely because the liner would shrink and never stretch back out enough again?

    Copper anodes? Snakeoil or good?

I've seen these from time to time, I'm wondering if they are good, bad, or just a waste? https://www.amazon.com/Sun-Shock-Remington-Replacement-Irritations/dp/B07N1XHM31 Remington Solar Copper Anode, 2 x Replacement, Sun Shock Solar Pool Ionizer, Save 80% on Chlorine Costs, Helps Reduce...

Do you remove the pool stairs when closing pool at end of season?

I've been leaving mine in. I disconnect it from the rail of the pool and leave them.

    Skimmer sweep

Ah I'm sorry I assumed it was a normal skimmer. Back when I had an Intex pool I used the Intex round skimmer and honestly, it worked really good. I'd say better than any inwall skimmer. Of course, it's large cheap bracket slowly split so it wouldn't hold it on the rail correctly, but aside...

    Skimmer sweep

I've found with my pump running on low and the return eye aimed way down the water moves slow enough the skimmer does very well all on it's own. Haven't found a need for any attachments. Now, if I aim the eye more upward and at more of an angle, the water gets moving so fast most stuff blows...

    Above ground pool wall thickness

This isn't about a specific pool, but rather what standard wall thickness the liners are made for.

    Above ground pool wall thickness

I've got an odd question. Does anyone know what the typical thickness of the steel wall is? Specifically I'm looking for what thickness steel a uni-bead liner is intended to go over. My pool is assembled so I have no easy way to get a measurement.

    Winter stagnant pH no cover

Just filled the pool up and got the pump running today. Water temp is 47f after letting the pump run on low speed for several hours. Supposed to be low 20s here tonight but I'm not concerned with the water being that warm Tomorrow I'll start testing the water to see where I'm at.

Taylor kit, but with only the chlorine, pH and CYA tests?

The chances of that happening.....slim to none. At least I'm honest :)

Taylor kit, but with only the chlorine, pH and CYA tests?

The price is really nice but the fact it says it won't fit in a k2006 case is a deal breaker. I also like a new comparator. I'm really curious why they sell 1oz bottles instead of the 0.75 and 2oz that Taylor supplies?

Taylor kit, but with only the chlorine, pH and CYA tests?

I keep trying to get out but they pull me back in. Another brand new K2006 plus extra whatever the brown bottle is I'm too lazy to look it up.

    Is measuring TA really necessary

Ok. Why? That's what I'm looking for. I know I barely understand this, that much I'm sure of. I'm looking to learn.

    Is measuring TA really necessary

See this is where I think I'm not understanding, so I have more to learn. What's temporary hardness?

    Is measuring TA really necessary

Usually..I measure my pH a few times a week and it's stable. If it's high, which is usually my case if anything I'll add a few hits of muriatic acid, no measuring just a guess and I'll let it circulate for a few days and do a few tests before doing anything else. I usually take my time with...
