I have a robot for our above ground pool and I notice that in cooler water temperatures it seems to slow down to a crawl. I think I read somewhere that the robots have a tendency to do that in cold water, however, I have never heard of anyone having any real problems using them in cold water...

We're in the same boat. It's still a tad warmer here than where you are, but the water has cooled off so much that the kids won't even get in! I think we were spoiled with the overly warm water this summer.

My flow at the return is good. I did have a problem with my pump lid when I first started the system up. I had to replace the O-ring since it wasn't getting a good seal, so that might just be my problem. What it the impeller and where is it located?
