Yes when doing CH and TA tests I do continue to add drop and then subtract the one that doesn't change color. I have softened water. I am in Phoenix Uptown area, so I am assuming I have City Water. I don't have automation, I will look into a new pool pump with automation. Any recommen? Also...

Thanks for that idea. I did just test it and Calcium is anywhere in between 10-20. I am going to assume it is softened water that the pool gets filled with.

I really don't know. My house has a water softener system but unsure of how it works, meaning if the water from the hose is also softened. I bought the house with the water softener system so I don't have any information on that or experience as to how to check. I did just drain and fill again...

Hello, thanks. Liquid Chlorine does not hold here in the Phoenix area so that's why I use CalHypo. What are your suggestions for chlorine type for Phoenix? I am using Taylor kit k-2006.

I don't add calcium every day. I add about a 2 bags of CalHypo every week sometimes a bit more frequent. I just refilled my pool and Calcium was in the 80s to begin with. I usually drain my pool every two years to avoid high Calcium numbers.

I only see those 2 options. I'm not talking about the options to know how much to add but the Sanitiser type question that is under Settings.

I have been using the app for a while but I have a question around the type of sanitizer used. There are only two selections that being, Liquid Chlorine and SWG. I use CalHypo Shock Treatment bags. Would I select liquid chlorine?
