    Generic T15 Salt Cell Options

Any time I see the Platinum Edition generic cell recommended, my spine shivers. All you have to do is google Salt Pool Store and add the words "reviews" or "scam" and you'll find out the warranty is worthless, the cell rarely makes it past one year, you have to return ship it to Australia, and...

    High salt on Aquarite

When mixing an OEM display board with a generic PCB board that result can sometimes happen. Sorry don't know of a solution. Could be a simple as waiting a few cycles and error magically disappears.

    High salt on Aquarite

You should be more concerned with the amperage than the high salt reading on the display. The high salt light is triggered when amperage reaches 8.0a or higher . the display could read 4200 and the amps could be 7.5a and high salt light wouldn't turn on. 88-0 is an aftermarket board. No t-cell...

    SUNSEEKER SS40

Save your money and try something else imo. This is a CompuPool product so you will end up having to call Australia with any questions or warranty exchange. The USA retailers who sell it online (Salt Pool Store and The Pool Folks) have VERY poor reputations if you just Google them. I believe...

    Another T-15 replacement thread

You wonder why pool product prices are out of control? At the end of the 2021 pool season I predicted prices for Hayward T-15 chlorinators would go up by $50-$100. Turns out I was wrong. They went up by $200. Most places selling it for $899 . Just when we thought precious metal coating prices...

    New salt cell

<Salt Free Pools has a Platinum Edition replacement for half-the-price of the Hayward, $339 vs. almost $700. Plus the warranty is 2 years longer. Opinions, please.> Anybody but those guys you mentioned. Just google their website and add the word "scam" and you will see what I mean. You will...

Hayward SwimPure Plus Reading Zero Salt

Personally I would consider that odd that a company doesn't want a six month old cell back even if it failed. I wonder if that is standard procedure for this import company.

    SWG costs

Based upon what I am seeing in the supply channel I estimate that retail prices for T-15 cells will increase $50-$100 for the beginning of the 2022 pool season.. The bottleneck is real.

    AquaRite r1.59 resetting Average Salt

James: I explained specifically what the issue is. I'm thinking that it's a board issue.

    AquaRite r1.59 resetting Average Salt

Please refresh my memory - the AquaRite r1.59 board when resetting average salt reading, the relay clicks and we get 25V/6a on effort #1 but we when reset it a second time there is no click and we always get 31V and 0a and an instant salt reading of -0. A new cell is installed replacing a one...

swap out Hayward panel/Jacuzzi cell for Jacuzzi panel/cell or figure out what problem is?

Just resolder the K1 solder points on the back of the board. I had five customers in the Phoenix call me in the last 48 hours with the same issue and everyone has fixed it by resoldering. Must have had quite the lightening storm out there.

Hayward Turbo Cell (T-cell-15) SWG Failure

You can always take your Hayward cell to the pool store and have them put it on their test machine. It will give you a PASS or FAIL reading. This way you will know for sure what to do next (i.e. replace the cell or something else)......

CircuPool rj-45 Plus Reads High Temp - No Chlorine Generated

So is this just a temporary fix that needs to be switched back when the new flow switch arrives? If the temp sensor inside the cell is bad why wouldn't you just replace the cell if it was still under warranty?
