Personally I would consider that odd that a company doesn't want a six month old cell back even if it failed. I wonder if that is standard procedure for this import company.

Just resolder the K1 solder points on the back of the board. I had five customers in the Phoenix call me in the last 48 hours with the same issue and everyone has fixed it by resoldering. Must have had quite the lightening storm out there.

You can always take your Hayward cell to the pool store and have them put it on their test machine. It will give you a PASS or FAIL reading. This way you will know for sure what to do next (i.e. replace the cell or something else)......

So is this just a temporary fix that needs to be switched back when the new flow switch arrives? If the temp sensor inside the cell is bad why wouldn't you just replace the cell if it was still under warranty?

FYI...The rounded cells pictured are CompuPool cells. The stateside wholesalers sometimes switch manufacturers. There is a reseller on eBay selling T-15 generic units for $350 right now and IMO they will be in for a huge shock when they find out they have to call Australia for any service as...

The coating that was applied to the concrete appears to be lifting off in spots. Assume that water got into those areas and did it's thing. Only in a few spots but how would you fix and would you redo the entire perimeter or just the spots that are affected?

Can you show us a picture of your cell? Also when you are resetting the avg salt level, why are you moving the switch up to Superchlorinate BEFORE the numbers cycle. All you are doing is locking in that 500ppm number immediately.
