Chas

My first "pool job" at 9 years was to hold the grade stick in the bottom of new inground pools for my dad. As I aged my skills in new inground construction grew as my dad's business grew through the late 1960s into the '70s. He dissolved the business in '74 and I worked for a Foxxx builder in new construction and service for a few years then built and serviced ingrounds on my own. Worked during the '80s as a hotel swimming pool manager for a convention center with a 100,000 gal. outdoor pool, 40,000 gal. indoor pool and 4 - 1,000 gal. indoor "spa tubs". Continued to do new installs and service during that time, started building above grounds as well. Took a job in HVAC business management but continued to install and service pools to this day, although now in my early 60s I'm getting a little old for new construction.
