Considering everything I’ve thrown at this pool you think it’s unlikely? The slime on the cleaner was a yellow color. Idk, willing to blame anything at this point!

Might be mustard algae? So chlorine doesn’t really work?

UPDATE: Took apart the pool cleaner and found a bunch of yellow film like stuff in the inner workings. Currently soaking in a chlorine bath and will scrub scrub scrub. Is this my culprit? What am I dealing with? Would have done pics but forgot before I soaked it.

We’ll be out of town Friday-Sunday so my plan is to have the house sitter throw some bleach in morning and night, turn on the SWG, and hope for the best.

Yeah I just found a brush with long bristles. Poured chlorine in and scrubbed. And brushed inside the sheer.

But the constant hissing isn’t an issue?

The opening is very thin. How do I get anything in there?

No I haven’t been running the sheer. I will do so. I do have autofill and it hisses. I looked into that and probably need to buy a better one.

Day 6 of SLAM. Still losing FC. Pool looks as crystal clear as day 1. Looked through every nook and cranny for hidden algae. Nothing. What next?!?
