    Intex 1.25" to PVC 1.5

That's easy. There should be lots of hose barbs at the local hardware/big box store that will attach to that with hose clamps and thread into a PVC female fitting.

    Intex 1.25" to PVC 1.5

This is an old thread of how to adapt PVC to an Intex pool. Probably not exactly what you're looking for but might offer a nugget of insight to the problem. Create intex adapters. Step by step. Lots of embedded photos I actually have an adapter that connects the end of an Intex hose to a PVC...

Sorry. Here's the label on the filter.

In-ground newbie -- I'm in the weeds now!

After several seasons with my Intex above-ground pool, we're moving to a new house and I've adopted a vinyl-lined in-ground pool! Problem is, I know very little about this aged pump and filter and I haven't found any information about them online. The filter is a Sta-Rite D.E. spin filter (33...

    Can anyone identify this Aquabot?

Yeah, I have to agree. I found some operating instructions online for newer units that are probably still applicable to this one, but I'd love to be able to download a a manual for this one exactly. - - - Updated - - - This one is pretty close. I'll go with this...

    Can anyone identify this Aquabot?

I managed to find this "serial" number on the side. IDK if it's the machine's serial number or just a parts number. I'll take the information from Manny and try to research the number.

    Can anyone identify this Aquabot?

We've inherited this cleaner with a new home and pool purchase and need to know if anyone can identify it by model number. The previous owner doesn't know anything about it, other than to plug it in and drop it on the pool, and all of the labels are completely washed out. Any help would be...

    SLAM or treat for metals?

I get that, but my experience is that the iron/metals in the water will discolor it as well as the walls. But your point is well taken. I have initiated the SLAM :goodjob:

    SLAM or treat for metals?

Well, I can't do that! (thanks)

    SLAM or treat for metals?

Finally opening today, and of course I have some discolored water. Lack of chlorine+warmer temps=green water. I get it. It's not the first time. And my water level is down. Down enough that I have to add some before the pump will begin circulating. In the past, adding water -- even my supposedly...

    DE filter & muriatic acid

The gasket that seals the top of the filter to the filter body is the only rubber I know of. The risk of getting it into the MA/H2O mix would, I should think, actually be lessened by using something small enough that the top couldn't slip down into. I don't recall if the pressure gauge on the...

    DE filter & muriatic acid

Last fall I used someone's suggestion to clean the elements of my DE filter by soaking them in a solution of muriatic acid & water, which produced pleasing results. Only thing is, the one container I have to soak in is about 30 gallons or so, which required a lot of water & acid. It just...

    Intex Ultra Frame liner pockets

I do have that problem but I don't consider it to be a major concern. Every once in a while I just run my finger down in there to get rid of as much of it as possible. I have toyed with the idea of closing up that gap with aluminum duct tape, the really sticky kind. It would look ratty but might...
