Thank you for response very helpful. I did go with the VSPHP270 . Is there a technical manual that provides the energy usage at different RPM? I agree with others IQPUMP01 option is very easy to program. No need for JEP option (it does not appear IQPUMP01 and JEP can coexist).

one more question . would you know if i need JEP option to utilize iQPump01 or can I forgo JEP controller all together and just program via iQPump01? Thank you again!!

Yes current pump is installed with pump unions so its just a matter of screwing out old pump and screwing in the new one. Regarding your other question the pool company has to install to obtain electricity rebate being offered in my area.
