Spared 10 minutes of my busy day to pull the solar reel out of the garage and put the cover on the pool. Cranked the heater up to 85 so it's ready for a Monday swim with the granddaughter. Now I have to slave to make myself dinner for work tonight. LOL

I'd wake up at 0600 and test. Get up before the sun gets up. :cool:

Tried kicking on the SWG and it's reading standby. I'm going to inch up on 3200ppm of salt to see if that will get it out of the standby mode. The filter is clean so it has great flow. The water isn't cold so it's not that. It just had a battery replacement last year under warranty and the cells...

Right! I was at 2200ppm yesterday.

Pool filter cleaned. A bag of salt in. Swept pool and added some calcium. Glad I only added one bag of salt because it put me right at 3,000ppm.

I used the cartridge filter on it.

I just cleared my swamp so there is hope. It just takes time. A sand filter will take you a little more time. Keep reading, posting and asking questions. I used my robot to help move the deep end water and get any crud that I couldn't see. That helped me a lot because I hate vac'ing blindly...

Mine is pretty full too. I only had to top her off once before we got all this rain due to excessive backwashing of my DE filter.

I'll be tearing my filter down and giving it a deep clean today, adding salt to get up to 3200 ppm and calcium to get up to 250 (heater).
