I noticed at the beginning of this season that the handle was very difficult to turn on my multiport value key. It appeared the main problem was the plastic washer under the handle. I was originally told I could not buy this part and so I made one. That helped but did not solve the problem...

I had to remove the entire valve key (top part) to remove the pin and handle from my Pentair. There are a number of YouTube videos on doing this. Some suggest standing on it to compress the spring and give you access to the pin but I used clamps to compress it and then punched out the pin.
