I changed to spa mode for a few minutes then back to pool mode and now the spillover looks normal. I guess all the valve movement during the freeze caused this. Not smart enough to know why but I’ll watch it closely.

Jim I’m wondering if the valve malfunctioned during the constant moving from pool to spa in freeze mode during the hard freeze we had for several days last week. I’ll check it out tomorrow as you suggested I’m hard headed and take care of the regular maintenance myself, but have a pool guy...

Thanks Jim, I had new Pentair CCP420 put in this past spring and the pressure hasn’t increased more than 3lbs since. Also, when pump shuts off, spa drains down almost to returns. I’ll post a pic of the position of valve which is in same position after pump is off.

After our recent cold spell and subsequent two days of freeze protection running,my spa spillover rate is greatly reduced. Noticed pressure side Pentair valve is about 1/3 closed. Any thoughts on what’s happening here?

Mk The waterfalls have always worked when freeze guard was engaged until Saturday night. As Jeff said, must be something tripped in the circuit as the light in the panel comes on when pushed.

I probably wasn’t clear on my description of falls. It’s the the flow from the rocks in the back of the pool and not the spillway from the spa. It has a separate pump. After freeze guard was off, I tried switching the falls pumps on with no luck so assume this has no relation to freeze guard. As...

Freeze guard came on for first time this season and noticed as it cycle to spa/falls. The falls do not run. Spa runs and falls light on but nothing running from falls. This has never happened in 16 years. Do not use falls feature much but has always run when switched on. What do the pros think...

Yes, it stops at pool level, but does not drain down to the light. Maybe wrong thinking on my part, but i was thinking if it was the light it would drain down to that level?

Happy 4th to all! Continuation of my problem: Drained spa and plugged both drains in spa then ran pump as usual till 6 pm. Once again, spa drain down overnight just as before in previous photo. As was discussed earlier, shouldn’t be spa light since it never drains to that level. Any more thoughts?
