Never heard of the Costco Clorox issue. I’ll move pump time up and do OCLT tomorrow night. Added liquid chlorine today. Will take all readings tomorrow. Thanks again for your input.

I’ve been kicking it up 5% at a time for last few weeks. Just increased pump time from 5 to 6 hours on June 1. Never ran more than 6 hours a day. Also just bumped CYA from 55 to 70. Hopefully I’ll get it leveled out in a day or so. Thanks for the input!

Yeah, just went there for convenience this time. always used bleach from Costco before.

I don’t have LC as an option, but I guess 128oz (1 gallon) at 12.5% would work. Any other thoughts?

With the early summer and lots of heat and sun, I’m getting a lot of FC burn off. I’m up to 80% on swg and was down to 2 FC today. Usually use bleach to fill in the gaps but decided to pick up some liquid chlorine from Leslie’s. I don’t see liquid chlorine on the choices to add for FC increase...

I changed to spa mode for a few minutes then back to pool mode and now the spillover looks normal. I guess all the valve movement during the freeze caused this. Not smart enough to know why but I’ll watch it closely.

Jim I’m wondering if the valve malfunctioned during the constant moving from pool to spa in freeze mode during the hard freeze we had for several days last week. I’ll check it out tomorrow as you suggested I’m hard headed and take care of the regular maintenance myself, but have a pool guy...

Thanks Jim, I had new Pentair CCP420 put in this past spring and the pressure hasn’t increased more than 3lbs since. Also, when pump shuts off, spa drains down almost to returns. I’ll post a pic of the position of valve which is in same position after pump is off.

After our recent cold spell and subsequent two days of freeze protection running,my spa spillover rate is greatly reduced. Noticed pressure side Pentair valve is about 1/3 closed. Any thoughts on what’s happening here?

Mk The waterfalls have always worked when freeze guard was engaged until Saturday night. As Jeff said, must be something tripped in the circuit as the light in the panel comes on when pushed.

I probably wasn’t clear on my description of falls. It’s the the flow from the rocks in the back of the pool and not the spillway from the spa. It has a separate pump. After freeze guard was off, I tried switching the falls pumps on with no luck so assume this has no relation to freeze guard. As...
