    Might also be an ozonator (if equipped) cycling on since it ran from, assuming fresh fill, 50-ish to 88 degrees before tripping. I would unplug that first.     EXACT Same thing happened to me last Autumn with a company called Affordable Spa Covers. I was told that cutting the sheeting is the "industry standard" to remove air when stuffing core into vinyl outer cover. The website says "Heat-Sealed". I asked to see a white sheet from the packing tape...

    Equipotential bonding help

    Per National Electrical Code. Making a continuous ring of solid bare copper wire buried around the exterior of the existing pad and bonded to your tub removes any potential voltage between the spa and the adjacent earth/pad.
