Water in the early 80's so we figured we might as well swim.

I appreciate the responses from both of you. I will ignore the pool builder as soon as they get out of my way. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time since joining this forum. They also say 3000 ppm is good on the salt level but I figured I'd run mine a little higher.

Just finished my pool and we used Aqua Bright. My pool builder is saying total alkalinity needs to be 120 with an Aqua Bright pool. Does anyone with experience with Aqua Bright have the same thoughts as my pool builder? Trying to figure it all out. Thanks in advance

I went ahead and did my first set of test. Didn't bother with the salinity test since it doesn't have all of the salt in the water just yet and I didn't bother with CYA because I thought it would be too soon. The PB wanted me to fill the bottom of the pool for the acid wash. They just added...

Trying to fill this pool so we can get the start up done later this afternoon!!! I have 2 hoses going and now the auto fill which has made a difference this morning. The color so far looks great.
