That was exactly what happened. Opened up the unit and found a gravel inside the turbine chamber.

The front wheels of my pool cleaner Pentair LL105PM are stuck and can not rotate at all when I tried to turn it by hands. What part failed to have caused this? Is it repairable?

The tail looks one piece to me. The feed line from pool to cleaner is made of multiple segments.
