I sliced off a piece of pool noodle and placed it over the feet of the ladder where they make contact with the floor. Works great and it's cheap! ;)

We could completely empty EVERY saltwater pool in the state of Wisconsin and never even come close to the amount of salt that gets spread over the roads of our state during the winter. (over 800,000 tons a year!) I'm not going to worry about a couple of 20 gallon, back yard backwashes a year...

Holy cow!! I first looked at this post on my phone earlier today and couldn't see just how funky it really looked. Now that I'm at home on a "real computer" I can see your concern more clearly. I agree with JLSgirl... looks like this one slipped by quality control!!

Could this possibly be a new design by Intex to allow more swimming area inside the pool as compared to the original design??? When was it purchased??

Basically... yes! :wink: But it needs to be tied tightly and it helps to have the rope tied 'high' and 'low' on both sides. (as shown in the picture) I did a quick google search on the Confer 7100 and it states that it is for "rigid framed pools only" and that for maximum stability it needs...

Only an inch or an inch and a half out of level across a 15' pool doesn't sound like something to be too alarmed about to me. Most on this site say anything under two inches is "usually" ok. If these support legs are only slightly leaning and don't continue to get worse, I would monitor them and...

Your right, bella. The "vac" that comes with these pools is about useless and will do nothing to remove that cloud. You'll need a vacuum that attaches directly to the pool intake and uses the suction of the filter pump to pull that cloud out of the water and through your filter. Tough lesson...
