Foam floor instead of sand what do you use to keep the ladder from crushing foam?

I sliced off a piece of pool noodle and placed it over the feet of the ladder where they make contact with the floor. Works great and it's cheap! ;)

Which filter best for Salt Water?

Doesn't change the fact that I'm not at all worried about it! :goodjob:

Which filter best for Salt Water?

We could completely empty EVERY saltwater pool in the state of Wisconsin and never even come close to the amount of salt that gets spread over the roads of our state during the winter. (over 800,000 tons a year!) I'm not going to worry about a couple of 20 gallon, back yard backwashes a year...

Help with easyset intex: wrong way ring

Holy cow!! I first looked at this post on my phone earlier today and couldn't see just how funky it really looked. Now that I'm at home on a "real computer" I can see your concern more clearly. I agree with JLSgirl... looks like this one slipped by quality control!!

Help with easyset intex: wrong way ring

Could this possibly be a new design by Intex to allow more swimming area inside the pool as compared to the original design??? When was it purchased??

Confer 7100 A-frame ladder and 16' intex ultra frame

Any chance you'd be willing to sell your old 7200 ladder?? (if you still have it) And... your more then welcome! :goodjob:

Confer 7100 A-frame ladder and 16' intex ultra frame

Basically... yes! But it needs to be tied tightly and it helps to have the rope tied 'high' and 'low' on both sides. (as shown in the picture) I did a quick google search on the Confer 7100 and it states that it is for "rigid framed pools only" and that for maximum stability it needs...

Confer 7100 A-frame ladder and 16' intex ultra frame

As you can see in the picture, I was able to make the crappy Intex ladder rock solid just by tying it tightly against the edge of the pool. I put some closed cell foam between the pool edge and the ladder to eliminate any chaffing and then tied it off to the nearest "T" on either side of the...

Intex salt water pump actual low flow

Not my picture or captioning. I simply used the picture as a visual aid to show the relief valve location. ;) That being said, your correct about the real reason for the relief valve.

metal frame poles leaning slightly 15x48 intex

Ok, I'll admit I may have misspoke when I mentioned "under two inches". (closer to one inch or less is ideal) Consider it a senior moment. But still, it this thing turns out to only be an inch out, I still don't see it as a big problem.

metal frame poles leaning slightly 15x48 intex

Only an inch or an inch and a half out of level across a 15' pool doesn't sound like something to be too alarmed about to me. Most on this site say anything under two inches is "usually" ok. If these support legs are only slightly leaning and don't continue to get worse, I would monitor them and...

    PLEASE HELP! Re: aluminum sulfate

If you have no other way to vacuum this "cloud" you could always siphon it to waste. Using a garden hose or a sufficient length of large diameter tubing, attach one end to your current vacuum pole <--- (finally useful for something!) with tape or zip ties. Fill this hose/tube with water. Keeping...

    PLEASE HELP! Re: aluminum sulfate

Your right, bella. The "vac" that comes with these pools is about useless and will do nothing to remove that cloud. You'll need a vacuum that attaches directly to the pool intake and uses the suction of the filter pump to pull that cloud out of the water and through your filter. Tough lesson...
