Nautilus CC Plus pool cleaner cable splice

Well my theory was correct. This black string stuff is some sort of fiber optic. I took my splice apart and used a doodad where I could feed the white, black and back fiber in to each of its own ports and my time selectors lit up which they didn’t do before when I didn’t splice rhe fiber optic...

Nautilus CC Plus pool cleaner cable splice

Here’s a pic of what I’m talking about. Yiu can see the black and white leads. Not an issue but have no idea if this black string stuff is somehow like a fiber optic or something that controls the 1,3 and 6 hour setting.

Nautilus CC Plus pool cleaner cable splice

I appreciate all your answers but not one of them had anything to do with my question. I did an online repair/splice to black and white copper wire. No different than hanging a new ceiling fan using wire nuts. Not sure what y’all mean by twisting and pulling. The cleaner isn’t “pulling” the...

Nautilus CC Plus pool cleaner cable splice

Hey all. I’ve read a few threads on here but haven’t quite found an answer. My dog chewed through my “tangle-free” cable so I thought I’d take a look and see if I can splice it. It’s only a year old and probably not covered by warranty for dog chewing. I peeled back the protective coating and it...

    Dirt buildup/dirt bonded to gunite

Yes you are correct. Plaster not gunite. No it does not puff aroind, disperse or cloud up when brushed. My pH is a little high right now. City water. Slat 3050 PH 8.0 Alk 90 I don’t have the others currently

    Dirt buildup/dirt bonded to gunite

My nautilus broke and while I had to wait almost two months for parts I kind of let dirt just settle on the floor. I went and bought a pool vacuum and was able to vacuum leaves and some Other stuff but it seems like the dirt has bonded to the gunite. I’ve brushed and brushed and brushed and it...

Suction issue - tiny hairline crack

After further investigation and looking at a pentair intelliflow pump on the google, I didn’t realize that a threaded pvc joint goes in to the pump. The small hairline crack is in the pvc pipe right where it connects

Suction issue - tiny hairline crack

    It’s definitely after the impeller.

Suction issue - tiny hairline crack

Ok, so I’ve done everything I can think of in regards to return line bubbles. I know this indicates suction side air getting in. I’ve changed gaskets on actuator valves, used foam test around connections, isolated main drain and skimmer with manual valve, cleaned filters etcetera. This morning I...

New thermistor - still won’t hold temp

And now my service heater light but no code then goes away.

New thermistor - still won’t hold temp

So I found that little black thing in my return line from my heater when I unscrewed my SWG so I now now that’s what needs replaced. Still a little rattling noise but is that because the sling is loose in there until I replace it? Temp still won’t hold but I assume that’s because the bypass...

New thermistor - still won’t hold temp

I’m thinking this might be the issue. But I didn’t have any service lights come on.

New thermistor - still won’t hold temp

Sorry. I meant replaced regulator not thermistor. It was corroded looking and stuck. When i replaced that the banging and cleaning stopped but gas would still kick off and on like the heat was meeting the set temp then so on and so on. Maybe the bypass switch where water flows in is messed like...
