About 30% of the water is removed in the fall and replaced with fresh water in the spring. Each spring I add 1 to 2 gallons of stabilizer to achieve 30 to 40 ppm cya. 4 3" tabs per week in...

    Jandy Valve

Is anyone familiar with Jandy Valve JVA 2444? There is one installed on my Helio Matic Solar Panel heater. The control panel has a thermostat to activate/deactivate heater. My question, should the handle on the Jandy Valve move as the thermostat changes? Mine does not, is it broke?

Yes, I use the 2006C Test Kit. Even after 30 years of testing my pool water, your attached tips and instructions are very helpful. Thanks

    CYA Level

Did chemistry check on 16000 gal. pool yesterday. Ph 8.2, TCL 1.0, TA 110, CYA 70. Added 32 oz muriatic acid, brought ph level down to 7.4, but now the CYA test shows less than 30 ppm using Taylor 2000 test kit. How do I get an accurate CYA test?
