    Intellitouch

What Jim R wrote above. My main pump is a newer model variable speed (VS) pump that has its own computer and can be programmed using the programming panel directly on the pump, though mine retained its programming from before the transformer died. As long as it has power to it, it'll run the...

    Blown Intellitouch Transformer

A followup - thanks all for the assistance! Got the new transformer in, hacked off the mounting plate that the new transformers have and did the install. Everything's back up and running! Thank you very much!

    Blown Intellitouch Transformer

ogdento - not a bad idea, If I had the parts. Unfortunately, no. The good thing is that despite no power to the controller thanks to the transformer, the pump is still operating on its own programming and pumping away. So it can wait until the new transformer arrives. Thanks again!

    Blown Intellitouch Transformer

Yes, I meant 3A. Wouldn't make much difference, though, as long as it had a load below the max rating. Anyway - ogdento, thanks for the info! Really appreciate it. Cheers.

    Blown Intellitouch Transformer

Verified that the correct voltage appeared on the input terminals via a multimeter and then an oscilloscope. Outputs were tested with and without a load, selecting resistors to keep the current well below the 3mA that the low voltage circuit brakers are rated at. Tested first with a multimeter...

    Blown Intellitouch Transformer

Hi there - I have an older Intellitouch system and the transformer has blown. Verified that it was originally wired correctly and that there's no voltage present on any of the 3 outputs (I'm an electrical engineer). The part number is 520128 which doesn't seem to exist anymore. Many suppliers...
