This time when I took it out it was still clipped and I attached the picture. However, when I was trying to take it out it seemed like it was caught on something. I reached in and there was something that had dropped down from above. I pushed it up and the regulator and spring came out intact...

I replaced the thermal regulator in my Pentair Master Temp 200. When I turn on the heater it starts up fine but when it ignites it sounds like the regulator and spring are spinning and rattling. When I remove the regulator cap the regulator clip is off the regulator and the spring is detached...
