    Thanks, I replaced the volute and everything is working fine. Can you please elaborate on what you mean regarding the wiring. Are you talking about the other pump?

    One of my pumps sprung a leak yesterday. I shut down the pumps and took off the piece that is leaking. I am trying to figure out where to buy the new piece and having a hard time figuring it out. Can anyone please off me some advice? I have the model and serial number It is a Century B625...

    I just read the beginner guide and then started thinking about my pool how the grout in my tile is cracking and now i understand why. I really need to manage my chemicals myself.

    I put back together and tomorrow I learn how to cut and glue PVC pipes. Hopefully this thing runs without leaking. Wish me luck. Also, I am all ears for experienced advice with regards to PVC. After I'm done I will clean up all the leaves and Crud and take another picture. Again, wish me...

    After scrubbing and cleaning followed by scrubbing and cleaning and another round of scrubbing and cleaning I finally had enough and put the pieces together. I sued the silicone JoyfulNoise recommended. I did not use too much.

    Thanks for all the suggestions: I already cleaned the plastic header with a sponge and plastic wire brush using dawn dish soap. It also got rid of all that silicone. See pic above. I hope that is good enough. If not I can pic up CLR at Lowe's. I hope you meant this...

I notice which I hope you can see in the last pic here that some of the pipe openings are not flat and have a bit of a warp to them...
