Building Outdoor Kitchen....anchor base cabinet frame to slab?

I didn't do modular kit framing but I did do steel framing around the Blackstone that I worked into my outdoor kitchen. I did what you mentioned and put some spare Timbertech scraps down under everything; anchored using concrete screws (I think they were Tapcon). I then anchored all my steel...

Liner Replacement, Rusty Walls and Rip Out SWG???

Thanks Newdude, my pool is only 11 years old, but I am hoping this will be MY last liner, but not the next owner of our home!

Liner Replacement, Rusty Walls and Rip Out SWG???

Not to the extent of the rust on every single wall panel. There was definitely a leak somewhere because we were losing about an inch per day, but I searched all over my pool for the leak(s) and never found any. It was also only leaking water for a very short period of time. So possible? Yes...

Liner Replacement, Rusty Walls and Rip Out SWG???

Correct, 3,000ppm for an SWG pool, 35,000ppm for ocean, 100ppm for tap water. So definitely *some* salinity. I also somewhat agree with you on it being run-off vs. pool water. Maybe someone can enlighten me on how my pool water can get behind my liner and in contact with all of my steel walls?

Liner Replacement, Rusty Walls and Rip Out SWG???

24,000 gallon in-ground pool, 11 years old. Just had the liner replaced. My liner guy (who frequents TFP and will probably see this, hey Mike!) has replaced 100's of liners and is very, very adamant that I rip the SWG out of my pool and use something, anything else. He says that salt-water...

    Is my SWG cell dying?

I'm slowly learning. I thought that this pool store was "different", but alas! They just told me that the CYA test should be valid, so yes, my CYA is sitting at 2. That could quite possibly be the problem! :brickwall: I'll be investing in a nice test kit here soon. Thanks all and I'll...

    Is my SWG cell dying?

Thanks for your reply jblizzle. After opening the pool, I had a lot of algae which I quickly got rid of by SLAM'ing the pool. The "2" for my CYA must be wrong. I've taken my water to a local pool store twice and both times it read 2. Once right after the SLAM and once today. Using the...

    Is my SWG cell dying?

Hello TFPers! I'm starting my 4 season with a SWG pool and mid last season I started having trouble keeping FC in the pool. Prior, my pool was basically maintenance free, very easy to balance and keep FC. All signs lead to my salt cell going bad, however if I capture water coming right from...
