In my city, it is against code to drain pool water into street/storm drains. We are required to drain into the plumbing system clean outs of the house. If you do this, be careful not to flood the house. You should frequently check inside make sure the plumbing system is not overwhelmed.

Recently purchased S200 from local pool store. I negotiated the price down to $749. They are a certified Maytronics repair facility. Do your homework and use online prices to negotiate on S200. Most will work with you.

I read that hair nets, used in skimmer basket ,help keep the small debris from making its way to filter. Could one also use a hair net in the pump basket? Is this frowned upon? Overkill? All the small debris from trees that surround my yard, are driving me crazy.

I just cleaned my Pleatco filters. Pressure started to creep above 20 PSI. My pool is surrounded by trees, which are dropping debris constantly. They were completely full. Easy to clean, but messy job. I will probably clean again before Memorial Day.

That was quick. I called Harts in Colleyville. They will not work on Discovery. I asked the price of the Dolphin version of Discovery. It was twice the price.

I am in Southlake. Where did you end up taking your Robot for repairs. Ease of service will probably determine what I buy. Is this the best time of year to buy a robot?

Thank you all for replies. Is warranty intact if bought online or do I have to find local dealer for S300 or Discovery?

Happy Thanksgiving all, I have in ground pool, with quartz bottom, surrounded by Oak trees. Getting a lot of acorns and leaves. Any recommendations on Robot that is best suited for this type of cleaning?
