I envy you guys who can wait so long in the season to close your pools. If I wait till the water drops to ~60 I'll be SHOVELING leaves out of the bottom.

I have this system with 12 heads. I feel it's pretty useless for any type of "cleaning" However, it's perfect for circulating chemicals.

Do they fully retract? They only rotate if they fully collapse into the housing.

Water temp is 75. Do you say 60 to keep alge growth to a minimum?

I can certainly do exactly what you guys described with my current valving. I just didn't know how long it would take to heat up and more importantly, how long it would last after it was shut off. I guess I can do it a few times to see how long it takes.
