Hello, I live in Vegas and my pump and filter are in direct sunlight for a good portion of the day. Are there any long term problems that could happen having the pump/filter in the high Vegas heat most of the day? Should I try and get the pump/filter in shade if possible?

I follow the instructions but after squirting the R-0013 into the test tub there is a difference in whether the dot disappears or not if you wait a couple seconds. Seems to clear up slightly after 2-3 seconds which changes my reading by 10.
