    pH 7.2 to 7.8 in a day

I am having similar issues, I lower my PH to 7.2-7.4 and within a day it is in the high 7's and the next day it is >8. It is a new plaster pool (started up this spring), all my chemicals seem to be in line, I just can't seem to keep my ph down for more than a day.

    Need Help With Intellicenter Programming

I just added an IPS10to my intellicenter to expand my aux outputs. Couldn't get it to work and ended up resetting and losing the program (I know, should have backed up first). I went through the wizard and now my spa isn't showing amongst other things. And of course, I have 20 people coming...

New pool construction - From exciting to stressful

And here all along I thought it was just me! Signed in early March and they finally dug the hole on June 3rd. They partially blamed a lost permit and promised we would be the next dig (this was early May). I was also told that we would be sooner than later on the dig because they can fit a...

In Floor Pool Cleaner - Go or No Go?

Thanks for all the responses, I am building a new plaster pool and it sounds like I should put that money toward a robot and landscaping.

In Floor Pool Cleaner - Go or No Go?

Just moved into a new house and am getting ready to break ground on the new build. One builder offered the in-ground pool cleaner option and the company I decided to sign with will include one in the price. My question is do they really work, or do I stick to one of the robot vacuums?

hayward sp3200dr has died. is it repairable?

Take it to your local electric motor repair shop. I was told I needed a new pump @ $900, bought a seal kit for $15 and then had new bearings installed and it is like new.

    WaterGuru - A Test

Hey Neighbor! Just a little south of you and work in MKE. Sounds like it may be stable enough for me to give it a try. Like you said our season is almost over, may just wait until next year in case they make any improvements. Thanks for all the feedback, been eying this one for a while now.

Don't Replace That Pump Just Yet...

So I noticed wetness at the base of my pump and it was bugging me. My pool guy (friend of mine), happened to be over so I asked him about it. He tightened the bolts and then made a call to his supplier to inquire about some prices. He then tells me, if that doesn't do it, you can get a seal...

    I Just Got SLAM'd

O M G!!!!:kim: First year IG pool owner and even when I had my AG pool I didn't know a fraction of what I do now thanks to all of you! My water has been clear (so I thought and even my pool guy complimented me on how my water looked). I have been struggling with a brown substance (no...

    Pump Motor Replacement

I currently have a Hayward SP2603VSP and it is connected to the Hayward OmniLogic automation. My pump bearings are out and my buddy that owns an electric motor repair shop suggests I replace it and have him attempt a rebuild on the old one (he is afraid it may be too corroded inside to come...
